August 2023 Small Business Grants

There are a number of grants available for small business owners with application deadlines this month. Check some of them out below!

Venmo Small Business Grand - Deadline: August 7

PayPal is launching the second iteration of the Venmo Small Business Grant. This round offers mentorship opportunities and $10,000 grants to 20 small businesses. To qualify, businesses must set up a Venmo business profile. The program will also prioritize businesses from under-represented communities. The online application portal closes on August 7.

Nasdaq Foundation's Quarterly Grant Program - Deadline: August 11

The Nasdaq Foundation's Quarterly Grant Program strives to accelerate progress in diversifying entrepreneurship and empowering a more diverse group of investors, and is accepting grant requests for programs that align with their mission, offering up to $75,000.

She’s Connected by AT&T - Deadline: August 31

She’s Connected by AT&T is marking a 3-year milestone of showcasing inspiring women who are paving the way for the next generation and to celebrate, we want to hear your small business story!

Amber Grant for Women - Deadline: August 31

WomensNet gives two $10,000 Amber Grants each month and two $25,000 grants annually. Filling out one application makes you eligible for all Amber Grants. To qualify, businesses must be at least 50% women-owned and based in the U.S. or Canada.

NASE Growth Grants

Join NASE, and you can apply for quarterly Growth Grant opportunities. There are no time-in-business requirements for these grants of up to $4,000, but you’ll need to provide details about how you plan to use the grant and how it will help your business grow.
