Construx Co. Relocates Headquarters to Downtown Hartford
Returns to its Roots, Committing to City and Company Growth
(Hartford, CT February 13, 2025)– Construx Co., a leader in managing commercial construction projects from concept to completion, is relocating its headquarters from Farmington to a larger, state-of-the-art office space at 10 Sequassen Street in Hartford, near Charter Oak Landing on the Connecticut River. While choosing to invest in the city’s future, the company doubled its team in 2024, necessitating a larger space to support continued growth. The new office, located in the former showroom of Greenbox Interior Solutions (now Creative Office Resources), offers an inspiring and collaborative environment for Construx’s expanding workforce and its clients.
For President Larry Mason, the relocation marks a full-circle moment. When Construx Co. was founded in 2017, he originally rented office space in the same building, located in the Coltsville Historic District, before moving to Canton and then to Farmington. This National Historic Landmark District is currently renowned for housing the offices of leading architects. With the move on January 28, the company will double its space from 2,100 to 4,755 square feet. The new space will provide the necessary infrastructure for the company to attract future employees and continue to expand its client base.
“We’re back at Sequassen and Hartford, where it all began,” says Mason. “The city has always been an integral part of our journey, and we’re excited to re-establish our presence here. The new space, with its perfect blend of modern design and natural light, will inspire creativity, collaboration, and success as we expand our team and capabilities.”
Looking ahead, Construx Co. is motivated by the opportunity to contribute to Hartford’s growth and economic development. Mason adds, “We’re dedicated to the community and eager to collaborate with local businesses and stakeholders to drive innovation, create jobs, and support the city’s long-term prosperity.”
Mike Zaleski, president & CEO of Riverfront Recapture, a non-profit connecting people with the Connecticut River since 1981, welcomes the firm’s return, saying, “We appreciate Construx’s past sponsorship and involvement in Riverfront’s fundraising events. We expect their return to Hartford to be positive, as they work with clients and also re-engage in collaboration and support of the community, including within our regional park system.”
