The Brownstone is a bar that bridges the history of Hartford with promise of Hartford's future. Serving up Great pizza, slices, sandwiches, panzerottis, and more. We welcome all!

Why did you join the Hartford Chamber of Commerce – what’s the value?

The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. By connecting with the Chamber of Commerce, we can forge new relationships, attend new and exciting events to get the word out about our business, and rely on a larger support network.

Why Hartford? How did you decide on the location for your business?

Our location at 114 Asylum Street puts us at the corner of Trumbull and Asylum is the Heart of downtown Hartford, located in a great historic building. We were excited to put the Brownstone there.

Tell us about the neighborhood and what makes it unique.

This is the center of downtown Hartford, right next to the city’s historic Pratt Street. By occupying an historic building, we live up to the goal of bridging the city’s past with its future. Plus, there's only one Brownstone Corner in the Capital City of Connecticut.
