UN•ART•6 at Hartford ArtSpace Gallery to Feature 80+ Artists and Benefit Dog Star Rescue
Hartford, CT – 1/8/2024 — Art of Tao LaBossiere LLC is proud to sponsor and produce the upcoming UN•ART•6 exhibition at Hartford ArtSpace Gallery to support local artists and Dog Star Rescue. Artwork will be hung salon-style, floor to ceiling, including paintings, mixed media, illustration, fiber art, photography, and sculptures. Showcasing more than 80 artists, the exhibition is scheduled from February 10 to February 24, 2024 with an opening reception on February 10, from 5 to 9 pm. The reception is free and open to the public with a suggested donation of $5 - $10 at the door. Dog Star Rescue will be present at the reception.
“Many contemporary art galleries can be exclusive and limiting since they are curating and jurying shows. We wanted to push past that to create an open opportunity for all artists. UN•ART is a large group art show where visual artists can exhibit their best work,” Amy LaBossiere said. “It is a sign of our times to see what today’s local artists create. Art is abundant in Connecticut.”

About UN•ART•6
Open to visual artists aged 18 and up, UN•ART•6 is produced by Tao & Amy LaBossiere, the volunteer co-directors of Hartford ArtSpace Gallery and sponsored by Art of Tao LaBossiere. The LaBossiere created UN•ART as a way to support other artists. Previous UN+ART events were held between 2008 and 2022.
UN•ART•6 will benefit Dog Star Rescue, an incredible non-profit organization dedicated to placing stray, abandoned, and owner-surrendered dogs of all breeds and ages into qualified, caring, lifelong homes. Visitors are invited to contribute a suggested donation of $5-10 at the door, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
